I arbitrarily picked Feb. 18th, and am flexible as to when the
workshop is held. Since so many folks are away, how bout the following
Saturday, the 25th?

Re home brewing: I used to home brew both dandelion and fruit wines,
with mixed success, and quite a bit of mess.

February 25th is out for me again - most likely I will be somewhere in
the vicinity of Kernville (waving to Don & Gwen) that weekend. If
everyone else can make it that day though, then don't worry about me.
The weekends where I AM available are:

1/28-29
2/11-12 (although this is the weekend of the Chinese New Year Hunt -
has anyone done this before, and/or is anyone else interested in trying
it this year?)
3/4-5
3/11-12

After that, I'm in Dartmoor!

As for the weekend of January 14th when we were going to have this
event, DoubleSaj and I have conferred and agreed that the Point
Reyes/Marin area is a good area that neither of us has hit yet. Anyone
else interested in joining us? Of course this would be weather
permitting.

Currently, Jan 21 & Feb 4 are the only days that will not work for me.
So, Feb 25th is ok.

Why don't we set up a poll on the Yahoo website and see whichh date
works best?

We made chocolate mousse last night, and our part of Oakland
repeatedly lost power. We figured that if we didn't get our power
back before we finished, we would just dunk everything in the kitchen
in the melted chocolate, and collapse in a chocolate coma.

mmmmmm.... chocolate, beer and letterboxing! I understand that
whatever you do on New Year's Day sets the tone for the rest of the year.

What if I do the workshop twice, about 2 - 3 weeks apart? That way,
people should be able to make one or the other session. All I ask is
that I get a minimum of 5 people in each.

Let's set Saturday, Feb. 25 as the date for the 1st session. Then
let's poll on whether Saturday, March 11 or March 18 will work best
for session #2.

Okay?

Paul

Thanks for offering to do a repeat performance! I think that might
work out - I have set up the poll on the Yahoo web site - please vote
for all dates you are available. Actually maybe we should start with
making sure which days Paul is available! Hope it doesn't turn out
that you conduct the sessions on 2 days I am not available - I would be
heartbroken!

I'm available any Saturday, with the exceptions of Jan 15 (Phoenix),
March 25, and April 1 (New York City). We need to do Saturdays because
the White Star Cafe @ the Presidio is closed on Sundays. Thanks for
your help, Princess Lea!
